Fundraising is a key component of our PTA. It allows us to achieve our mission to support, reinforce, enhance and promote our children’s Spanish immersion experience, as well as the student's overall education, health and well-being.
Puesta del Sol PTA Fundraising Roadmap for 2023-2024
September |
WALKATHON - Students walk or run laps to raise money for our PTA. This is an amazing community-building event where families, staff, teachers, and Amities mingle, dance, and socialize. Donations are solicited before and during the event. |
October |
BOOK FAIR - Families purchase books, posters, journals, and more at our annual Book Fair in the Puesta del Sol Library. Proceeds pay for a significant portion of the books in our amazing library. |
November |
BIG GIVE! - Pledge drive where each family is invited to contribute to the PTA. Funds are used for classroom support, our Amity Interns (Spanish-speaking classroom aides), library books, field trips, art and cultural experiences, family events, and more. |
Spring |
Auction - Would you like to be Principal for the day? Join us for the Live Auction and raise your paddle! We will gather to eat, drink, listen to our student choir and marimba bands, and (most importantly) we will raise money for the PTA with a live and silent auction. |
