What a Year 2022, and Hello 2023!

Puesta del Sol PTA, we aren’t even halfway through the school year and have already accomplished an incredible amount. Walkathon

Walkathon is Happening! On Friday, October 7, 2022, Puesta del Sol is hosting the 20th annual Walkathon! This annual tradition is our largest community-building event where family, teachers, and staff join students to walk laps in a fun and festive atmosphere to support Puesta del Sol's Fall Fundraiser. There is no charge to participate and there is no set distance, however, every student must RSVP. Walkathon is a component of the “Big Give” fundraising campaign. Drama Club Registration is Open

Welcome 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Families! We are very lucky to have a partnership with Studio East ArtReach so that our students will be able to experience their own after-school drama program with costumes, lights, props and a real theatre stage! ArtReach is a six-week after-school residency in which up to 50 students will get an opportunity to sing and dance in a musical. (This is not Howie's before-school program.) Changes to Grade-Level Fund Collection! The Puesta community will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at our Back-to-School Fiesta (September 28th). Family Fun on the Farm

First Light Farm in Carnation is welcoming the Puesta del Sol PTA families for a Fall Family Fun on the Farm event. This will include a hayride and a fun hands-on activity.
