Auction Success - Thank you!

The Vamos a Volar auction this past weekend was a huge success! Between the online silent auction and the in person event, we've raised at least $60,000 to help support PTA missions and programs, which in turn help support all of the students, teachers, and staff. Teaching mindfulness, movement and self-care practices, one breath at a time. Join fellow Puesta del Sol parent, Teacher Melissa, for a fun and engaging series that will teach your child yoga and mindfulness practices through songs, games, and stories. Print Making Workshop!

Holly Ellis Brown will be teaching fellow Art Appreciation volunteers about block printing. We will be trying different printing techniques and discussing ways to teach block printing in the classroom, at different grade levels. Dear Puesta del Sol Families, Teachers, and Staff, On November 14th Bellevue School District’s Superintendent, Dr. Kelly Aramaki, dedicated his blog post to our district’s budget. While many of us are aware of the larger financial hurdles our district has faced in recent years, much of what was outlined in Dr. Aramaki’s post, and in the November 14th School Board meeting was unexpected and sobering news. Register for Winter PTA Before & After School Classes! It's time for a new session of amazing extracurricular classes! Registration opens on December 17th for PTA Members, and December 20th for all Puesta del Sol students. Active PTA members will be sent a registration link by email on Monday, the 16th. Fiesta del Maiz: Puesta del Sol Family Meet-Up

Fiesta Del Maíz! Family Celebration and Learning Opportunity! Meet up with members of your Puesta del Sol community as we learn about Maíz! This new local festival will honor and celebrate maíz (corn) and Mesoamerican Indigenous cultures. The festival creator is a proud Puesta del Sol Dad!
