Global Reading Challenge is a special reading program for 4th and 5th grade students, sponsored by the King County Library System. The Global Reading Challenge students who participate in the program will read 1 of the 6 fiction and/or nonfiction books that have been selected by children’s librarians from the King County Library. The specific books represent a wide variety of interests and reading levels. Students will be reading for pleasure, for information, for fun and to gain exposure to a variety of authors and subjects in order to challenge other teams in a quiz bowl format. Our Puesta del Sol Librarian, Sra. Stacey Brody, can always use a helping hand! Ask your child's teacher when his/her class is at the library. Or drop in any time to help with other tasks. You can set up a time with Sra. Brody to learn how to shelve books, cover books, and help with book check-ins and check-outs.
