Cross-Cultural Family Programs - The PTA will host three family engagement events that highlight similar cultural traditions in our community and include presentations/interviews, food, and hands-on activities.

STEM Fair - The Science Fair is a celebration of the scientific method, providing students an enriching opportunity to explore science outside the classroom.

International Art Festival- The International Festival and Art Fest have been combined into one event! A wonderful school-wide showcase where our  art appreciation volunteers display curated pieces from each class, artists come for interactive programs, and students come together to perform cultural dances, songs, and music taught by volunteer and paid members of our International Spanish Academy community, staff, and families.

El Kinder Paletas - Paletas for our incoming kindergartners to enjoy as part of their kindercamp experience.

First Day Coffee & Donuts - Come celebrate the new year after dropping off your students in their respective pod areas! Meet other Puesta del Sol Families. Offered on the first day for 1-5, kindergarten, and preschool.

Ice Cream Social - Enjoy a sweet treat, get reacquainted with old friends and classmates, and make new friends at this annual back-to-school social event.

Mariners Night - Join other Puesta del Sol families and friends at T-Mobile Park to cheer on our favorite baseball team, the Seattle Mariners.

Incoming Kindergarten Potluck - Puesta del Sol and the PTA welcome the incoming kindergarten class and their families with a get-acquainted potluck event.

Field Day - This annual event is an afternoon of fun-filled games and activities to celebrate the end of the school year.

Staff Appreciation - Students and parent volunteers participate in appreciation activities for one week every Spring to express gratitude to our wonderful staff at Puesta del Sol.

5th Grade Events - Each year our 5th graders celebrate their final year at Puesta del Sol with a variety of events, including a 5th grade-hosted appreciation tea for the teachers and staff at Puesta del Sol, a 5th grade legacy gift, an end-of-the-year party, and graduation in June.

Walkathon- - This annual event is our largest community-building event where family, teachers, and staff join students to walk laps in a fun and festive atmosphere. There is no requirement to the length of your fun walk, there is no charge to participate; however, every student, walking or not, must RSVP.

Book Fair - A wide selection of new releases and great reads are available to purchase in English and Spanish during the book fair. Proceeds support the school library and PTA.
